RULES FOR PARTICIPATION

FASHION IMPRESSION, 2020 FEMALES EDITION

STAGE ONE

Aburoy & Ashabi shall be giving out Cash and Kind Prizes to upcoming fashion designers to help distil their craft. Participants/Contestants are required to click INSTAGRAM and FACEBOOK, to follow @aburoyandashabi, and create a design that best suits their personality. What you design must perfectly fit you!

The design will have to be envisaged and sewn by you or under your supervision. The progress of your project must be documented, step-by-step, and posted on your Instagram/Facebook pages tagging @aburoyandashabi and using the hashtag #fashionimpressionwithA&A.

After completing the design and clothing, pictures or videos of creation of the design should be sent to aburoyandashabimanagement@gmail.com, including your personal picture. Your designs must not carry any form of watermark, or inscription of your name/brand name and must appear only on a white background.

A portal will be created for you, where your friends and family will have to vote to assist you in winning.

Scoreboard

50% for Votes = 2,500 points

10% for Neatness = 300 points

20% for Creativity, Authenticity and Originality = 600 points

5% for Project Write – up Description = 150 points

15% for Question Value = 450 points

Total points attainable = 4,000 points

Note: Winning is determined by the amount of points accumulated by the participant at the end of this stage.

Winner gets #25,000 + 2 weeks of free training sessions with Aburoy&Ashabi, plus a Professional Diploma Certificate.

First runner-up gets #15,000 + 2 weeks of free training sessions with Aburoy&Ashabi, plus a Professional Diploma Certificate.

Second runner-up gets #10,000 + 2 weeks of free training sessions with Aburoy&Ashabi, plus a Professional Diploma Certificate.

Three other participants with high points, of not less than 2,500, get 2 weeks of free training sessions with Aburoy&Ashabi plus a Professional Diploma Certificate.

To qualify for the Stage 2, every participant must have a minimum of 2,500 points.

Stage 1 Prizes are doubled for Stage 2 winners.

Entries opened on Monday, 7th of September, 2020 and closes on Monday, 5th of October, 2020.

CICOSEMA INSTITUTE’S ACCELERATED & DIRECT MEMBERSHIP PROGRAMMES COMING TO A CLOSE

The Board of Trustees and Governing Council of the Certified Institute of Cooperatives and Social Enterprise Management (CICOSEMA Institute) have resolved that the ongoing Accelerated and Direct Membership Programmes, which have been open since February, 2019, should come to a close on 30th September, 2020. This has become necessary due to the planned preparations for commencement of Professional Examinations of the Institute from February, 2021.

The Accelerated and Direct Membership Programmes, which is currently being run through the 3-day online bi-monthly seminars before conferment of membership, shall be brought to an end upon completion of the following seminars (now to hold once in a month):
COTS Class 28: 7th – 9th July, 2020
COTS Class 29: 11th – 13th August, 2020
COTS Class 30: 15th – 17th September, 2020

By the foregoing, the 2020 induction has been officially fixed for Saturday, October 17, 2020 while the venue shall be communicated to all after a careful look at the COVID-19 Compliance Status of the proposed facility for events of the day. Please, be assured that all your decorative gowns, hoods, caps and other paraphernalia for the conferment are readily in place.

Note that all graduate trainees at the seminars of our Accelerated and Direct Membership Programmes who fail to meet the induction payment deadline of 30th September, 2020 shall not feature on the induction list and SHALL NO LONGER QUALIFY FOR MEMBERSHIP under the existing arrangements, but shall proceed to prepare for and write the Professional Examinations.
